Welcome to 'CBT - Making Changes'
'CBT - Making Changes' is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) service which provides high quality, confidential, effective and evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) treatment to individuals. We also provide competency based clinical supervision.
The service was established by Karl Woolley, who originally trained as a Mental Health Nurse (RMN), he continued his training and development and became an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. He holds full accreditation with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), alongside maintaining his nursing registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). He has vast amounts of experience in working with individuals with differing mental health disorders and issues within a variety of healthcare settings, whilst abiding by codes of professional conduct through the BABCP and NMC to ensure continual high standards of professional practice.
Karl Woolley ensures that 'CBT - Making Changes' maintains an up to date and professional approach to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), by doing so, he undertakes continuing professional development, attends training courses and keeps up to date with recent research within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to ensure that all individuals accessing the 'CBT - Making Changes' service receive up to date and relevant treatment to effectively manage their problems and provide them with the skills to continue to do so after treatment has finished.
'CBT - Making Changes' aim is to help individuals to understand any problems and underlying causes they may be experiencing, resulting in them developing a new prospective and approach to daily life.
